About this video

Video transcript

B2B marketers can find it challenging to prove how advertising campaigns directly impact business outcomes. LinkedIn's CRM Sync allows you to import sales data like leads, pipeline stages, and closed deals from your businesses CRM to your LinkedIn ads accounts. This connection provides you better visibility from ad exposure to revenue won.

To get started, you'll first need a Business Manager account. Business Manager links all your Ad Accounts, Pages, and Matched Audiences to a single dashboard. Once you have Business Manager set up, select Settings in the menu panel to connect to your CRM. If your organization is already connected to a CRM from LinkedIn Sales Navigator, simply enter your business information when prompted. Alternatively, connect to Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or HubSpot by selecting the corresponding Connect button.

After you have provided the required information, a pop-up window will ask you to confirm setup. By default, CRM data will appear in the Revenue Attribution Report in Business Manager. You'll be automatically opted in to share your CRM data with Campaign Manager. A Business Manager admin can turn sharing off and on in Settings at any time. Review the legal notice and select Confirm to consent.

Within 72 hours, all admins on the Business Manager will receive an email notification that the CRM connection has been established. CRM data will refresh daily to capture any changes and shed light on how opportunities, pipeline, and revenue were influenced by LinkedIn ads from the last 180 days.

In Business Manager, access the Revenue Attribution Report to view current pipeline and assess overall return on ad spend. In Campaign Manager, view more granular revenue metrics in three locations. Under the Advertise tab in the campaign reporting table with the Pipeline column view selected, the Revenue tab under Measurement Insights, and the Companies Hub under Plan. With sales and marketing data linked, you will have the visibility you need to prioritize the campaigns that drive revenue, reengage buyers with open pipeline, and prove marketing's role in closing deals.
